
So far today i have no energy what so ever. I feel bla about things.
I have had a bowl of the barbra peanut butter crunch from Trader Joes and a plum.
Snack was a Luna nut bar from Trader Joes
Lunch i had a ham sandwich, i wasn't very hungry and i did wrong by only eating that.
snack i drank a Naked strawberry and banana smoothie, Very good i might add
On the other hand, we are supost to be doing the protein shakes and vitemins, well in the bigning it tells you not to read ahead to stay day by day. well If we don't read ahead then how do we know we are supost to be getting this stuff. so i have gone 2 days with out doing this step. And will because i have not gotten the protein powerder or the Vitemins. Does anyone else not have the stuff and doing ok with out it.
I never really thought this would be expensive like it is. I can't find any snack and items at my local wal-mart so i have to drive over a hour to go to a trader joes and by what i can.
Any suggestions would be great.
jazzy1, 4 months ago | FlagI use wal mart brand protein shake or muscle milk just make sure it does not have over 5g of carbs and also that it has 15 to 25 grams of protein per serving. I just started with a one a day vitamin from Wal-mart. I seem to be doing ok with that. Now for your snacks I am sure Wal-mart or the corner store has cornnuts and sunchips. String cheese sticks, fruit, raisins, planter peanuts and almonds, frito lay baked chips, popcorn, so delicious ice cream sandwiches, Southbeach oatmeal cookies, and pretzels are all snacks you can have. What I did was only focused on the brands that I already knew about any brand I did not know anything about I did not get. That's helps you with trying to find something that may be more expensive than you are used to buying. You will get through it. I think we get so focused on doing it right we don't realize we are still making small changes. So keep at and just see what happens when you finish the 21 day plan. I am on day 18 and have done ok. I have messed up some but always got back on course the next day. There is nothing else up ahead that you have to get maybe some sodium free items but that's just if you want to. Also there is a day to go out and eat but it says choose wherever you want to go. Try and work the program according to what you have and can get at the time. I have been shopping each week to get more items because that's all I might be able to get at the time. keep up the great work.

cdavis1126, 4 months ago | FlagI found it expensive in the beginning because I wasn't stocked up on what I needed in the house. Now the grocery bills are back where they were before. I am usually at the grocery store 3 or 4 times a week buying fresh fruit. I don't like to buy too much at one time. I just buy the regular stuff at my Acme, no organic unless they have it and it's reasonably priced. Walmart has the Luna bars so if you have one of those closer to you, try that. Watch out for the ham, it's really high in sodium. You don't have to try and do everything at one time. Just take it day by day. So in the next few days, try to get the protein powder. I like to put a scoop of it in my oatmeal. I buy the store brand apples and cinnamom low sodium oatmeal and it was on sale this week so I stocked up. There's oatmeal everywhere!! Which vitamins are you speaking of? The 5 way fat burning ones that are on the program? That's all I take with a daily vitamin, 1 fish oil pill and 2 glucosamine at dinner. The glucosamine is to try and help rebuild my old squeaky joints. Don't get overwhelmed, like I said, just take it day by day.
